Nikki Dickson

I completed my Studies at Marshall Academy in Hobart and and worked as a Trainee and Colour Technician at Nischler Hair Salon.  One of the biggest Hobart based salons with amazing mentors and fellow staff.  I competed in numerous competitions whilst at Nischler, holding back to back National Titles and other numerous placings at State and National levels. I  also competed in the apprentice competition at the Hair Expo called Champion of Champions. This was definately a huge highlight in my career at such an early way into my 2nd year. 

I have great passion for cutting, but my one true love is colouring. I love high end fashion colours mostly. But transforming people and seeing how they walk in and to how they walk out is definately the best feeling in the world. Knowing how amazing I have made people feel and what a difference visually and emotionally to the client it has made, is one of the best parts of my job that I love most of all. 

I have been in the industry for 12 years, had some time off over the past few years trying a different avenue which is working at a clothing boutique in Hobart. I'm back doing into hairdressing, after a life changing experience being the arrival of my beautiful little man that I adore so much.  I love being back doing what I love but coming home to the smile on his face finishes my day off at Bella Vogue perfectly.
